BIOGRAPHY
Adam Douglas, is an BMI Published & International Recording Artist, producer and songwriter. Adam also known as "A-Bomb" brings a raw and uncut, real life stories through Xplosive Music. His laid back sound and his catchy melodies makes him one of musics hottest upcoming artists.
A-Bomb started producing music in 2002 for local bands and artists. In 2006, he founded Xplosive Music Entertainment, a promotional and music Production Company currently based in Cleveland, Ohio. His production work includes D12, Lupe Fiasco, Garbage, G-Eazy, Ray Cash, Mya, Fat Joe, Bizzy Bone, Trey Songz, Machine Gun Kelly, Scott Stapp, Mike Shinoda, Fabulous and many other artists, production companies and record labels.
A-Bomb released his first album "A-Bombination" in 2006 which was Co-Produced By Brandon Bishop, Yonni, and Mike Brown on several tracks. His singles "Dance" and “Why” was a local hits. "Dance" was played in clubs by DJs and "Dance" and "Why" were fortunate enough to get some airplay on several college radio stations. The "Why" music video was in constant rotation on the Cleveland local music television network and made a national appearance on MTV.
In 2008, he released his second album "The Masterpiece". This album featured alot of area artists and was a personal story of his life growing up with heartache. "The Masterpiece" was also Co-Produced By Brandon Bishop on a few tracks. A-Bomb released singles “Mirror,” “Fallin Soldier,” and “Don’t Look Back”. His first release off the album "Don't Look Back" was a very social aware record which talked about child abuse and neglect. "Fallin Soldier" talked about the war in the Middle East where A-Bomb depicts a soldier where he is killed in war. That year A-Bomb toured the area doing concerts, showcases, radio and told the world his story.
In 2009, A-Bomb was a nominee By Ohio Hip Hop Music Awards as Best Male Artist and Best Producer.
After taking a couple years off, Adam released "Gemini" in 2012 in which he released his third album. He teamed up with producers Brandon Bishop and Aaron "DBoyy" Dissell. The single "Future Love" was another small local hit on the college stations and in the clubs. And he is currently shopping the re-releases of “Addicted” and “Look At Us Now”.
A-Bomb also released his Mixtape "The Adam Douglas Mixtape" which showed off his singing and defining his own sound. The single, "The Ride" Remix which featured Drake and The Weeknd was and still is a growing hit online. The remix has over 100,000 online downloads on Soundcloud, Reverbnation and other sites.
In 2014, A-Bomb released "The Adam Douglas Mixtape Deluxe Version" which features different styles of music. Hip Hop, Pop, R&B and Rock are genres he showcased in the album with alot of raw emotion behind it. The song "Deja Vu" was featured on Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes and other online sites, which has had over 20,000 downloads worldwide.
In 2014, he released records "In The Dark" and "One In The Chamber". "One In The Chamber" has caused a buzz in the area and online, and features pop star Cali Miles in the music video. In June 2015, he released his single "Dangerous" and has sold over 5000 units online and is growing.
In 2015, A-Bomb created Xplosive Radio and the controversial show Humpin Around. The host Dr. Harvey Humpinstein and other radio personalities are featured on the show.
In October 2015, he released his single and music video "In The Dark". He was fortunate to get press with local music and news radio stations and Cleveland Scene Magazine, which featured A-Bomb in an article about the video and his upcoming album This Is Me.
In November 2015, A-Bomb released his fourth studio album This Is Me which featured his singles "In The Dark", "One In The Chamber", and his biggest single to date "Dangerous". "Dangerous" has been played in clubs, by local radio and internet radio all over the world and has generated over 16,000 online downloads and 100,000 plays and spins.
In May of 2016, A-Bomb released "Look At Us Now" off his Gemini album for a Cleveland Cavaliers anthem remix and is gaining alot of attention. He is currently in discussions with video, promotions and publishing for the record. He is also releasing "Close Your Eyes" off his mixtape in the summer.
In June of 2016, A-Bombs single was picked to be on DJ Steph Floss the Official Cleveland Cavaliers Championship Mixtape "Thats None Of Your Business". Floss, the official DJ of the Cavaliers and Lebron James said he went through thousands of a songs for the album and "Look At Us Now" was one of the top anthems out. The mixtape also features Lil Wayne, Bone Thugs N Harmony, ASAP Ferg, Machine Gun Kelly and other local and national artists. And A-Bomb is also in talks with NBC Sports with "Look At Us Now" for the 2016 Rio Olympics for promotional advertising.
In 2017, "Look At Us Now" became the official fight anthem for the professional MMA fighting team Midwest Savages.
In July of 2016, he released his second mixtape, "Confessions". A darker and lyrical collection of material that was building from the past years.
In August of 2016, A-Bomb released a darker side of his music, a single entitled "Pain I Never Knew" off his This Is Me album. "This is pure raw emotion on this record and I hope the audience can relate to the emotion". Says A-Bomb.
In November of 2016, A-Bomb released his singles "My Life" and "Close Your Eyes" featuring singer and songwriter Vanessa Kane. Both songs are off his Adam Douglas mixtape and now set to be on his 2017 album "X".
A-Bomb released his single "Deja Vu" in February of 2017. The second installment of his dramatic romance story which was preceded by his record "My Life". He is also releasing "You're The One", an inspirational anthem which features T.L Perry.
In May of 2017, A-Bomb released his highly anticipated single, "Tonight We Save The World". The record is being played in clubs, local radio and is creating a buzz on social media. In July, he released the official music video and the song is a hit on the KISS FM local market in Cleveland.
In October of 2017, A-Bomb released his single "Dance With Me" that is dedicated to his daughter.
On November 1st, A-Bombs fifth studio album "X" is to be released. He is also scheduled to host his new inspirational podcast show "Listen Up" slated in November.
In July of 2018, A-Bomb's "X" album was nominated for Album of the Year by Ohio Music Awards.
In November 2018, A-Bomb released his singles "Trippin" and "High" off his upcoming Sweet Dreams. He also officially released his highly anticipated record "Blast Off" featuring Chris Brown which is in radio rotation in Cleveland, Ohio and as well as some other local and radio markets including New York, Chicago and Detroit. The record has now over 100,000 streams, views and downloads as of April, 2019.
In December 2018, he released his anthem "The Night" and in February 2019, A-Bomb teamed up with Sony Music Productions with his single "Put Me On".
In March 2019, A-Bomb teamed up with Earth Recordz & Jasun Watsun and set to release their single "All The Way" and Spring 2019, A-Bomb is set to release his highly anticipated anthem "Sweet Dreams" which features upcoming rap star Benjamin Bill.
As of June 2019, "Sweet Dreams" has been featured on several FM radio stations throughout the country including stations in New York, Seattle, Boston, Maryland and others.
In November 2019, he also re-released his Confessions Mixtape and added more music in the Deluxe version.
In 2020, A-Bomb was busy releasing his sixth, seventh and eighth albums Sweet Dreams LP, Thoughts From A Sick Mind LP and untitled LP. At the end of 2020, he released his Greatest Hits album featuring his biggest singles and radio hits.
A-Bomb has totaled over a million and a half song plays, views & downloads in music stores and online all over the world.
