As we journey into 2018, I can't help but stop to think about the past and the future. We did so much in 2017. Did a couple live performances, did television and radio shows, had a fan meet n greets, worked with some incredible artists and producers. Also had an endorsement with a professional MMA Fight Team, finally making national radio with "Tonight We Save The World" and the music video. Oh and the whole X album release thing!
2017 taught me more about how incredibly shady the business end of music is and how family and friends quickly turn against you. But I stayed focused and had a goal in mind and we achieved it selling over 30,000 copies (downloads & streams) of "Tonight We Save The World" and thousands of other copies of other singles throughout the year.
As an indie artist, I have loved being my own brand and doing my own thing in the last several years. Though this year was a success, I have to look at whole picture. This road that I have traveled is coming to an end soon. Not exactly have a time table but with any chapter in life, it will close.
With my fifth studio album under my belt, I truly feel grateful and blessed on the people I've meet and have given hope to with my music. I am also grateful to have had special opportunities to work with a lot big names in the business and seen a lot of the world.
The future is never clear for anyone, but I do know that I will have a lot on my plate for 2018. Family is most important in my life and that comes before any music endeavor or anything else. This music life has been a tough road, not just for me, but also for my family. As much as I want to be the greatest artist that I can be, I also have to be there for them. Family Is Everything.
I have been so blessed and I thank all my fans and Bombsquad supporters. You guys truly give me strength to keep pushing even when I'm down. I am thankful that I've lived out most of my dreams and will continue to tell the world to never to give up and NEVER BE LESS THAN YOUR DREAMS!
