I am so blessed and honored to be on DJ Steph Floss Cleveland Cavaliers Championship Mixtape "Thats None Of My Business". Which the title is a perfect fit coming from Lebron telling all his haters and naysayers that he couldn't win a title in Cleveland. I feel almost the same way when it comes to music. But if you work hard enough and believe in yourself, anything is possible!
I wrote "Look At Us Now" originally back in 2007, an anthem for the Cavaliers and as well for the underdogs and ones that have been fighting and struggling with life. for our first run to the title versus the Spurs. But we lost and I kept pushing the song for other events such as Relay For Life, a community based fundraising event of the American Cancer Society. The record gained momentum and it started getting attention. But after a break from the music business and years of losing and not being in title contention the record was put back up on the shelf.
When Lebron came back in 2015, the song woke from the dead and I knew that it was time to push it to the streets again. The Cavs reached the finals against the Warriors and the song was being downloaded but we lost again. The song again lost momentum but I knew I had something special and I knew the Cavs would be back.
In 2016, the Cavs where destined to win and I pushed the anthem stronger than ever and it ended up in the Cleveland Cavaliers hands and they loved it. The fans loved it!! We kept pushing and we reached the Finals again and this time WE WON!! The city and the world fell in love with Cleveland and "Look At Us Now".
The Cavs and Lebron James DJ Steph Floss put it on the Official Championship Mixtape with Lil Wayne, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Asap Ferg, MGK and me. A dream come true! I still can't believe it! Truly honored!! 52 years for a championship and I'm on the soundtrack! #SoBlessed
